About

Welcome to my blog.

Writing helps me reflect on what I’ve learned and stay motivated to keep exploring new topics. My blog also serves as a digital journal—capturing moments, thoughts, and experiments that might interest readers. Ultimately, it’s about personal growth, creativity, and building a lasting record of what matters to me, from everyday observations to thoughts on life, work, and the world around me.

My interest include technology, science, entertainment, travel, health, history, and politics.

I’m of the Baby Boomer generation, Italian by birth and Canadian by citizenship. The family immigrated to Canada when I was three years old. Spent my childhood in a small town in Northern Ontario. My life changed drastically when the family moved to a city in Southern Ontario. I lived and worked in large cities until I retired and moved to a small town in Eastern Ontario. My wife and I have been married for over fifty years.

It wasn’t surprising that small-town life would be different. We had to adjust to a slower pace of life. It takes us less than ten minutes to drive to the centre of town and less than 30 minutes to nearby cities. We have everything we need nearby including a hospital five minutes away, which might prove increasingly useful for us Boomers…fingers crossed. Rush hour traffic is a thing of the past, and the main intersection hardly ever has a traffic jam. The town shares some big-city issues, but on a smaller scale.

Be sure to check out my webcam that overlooks a river flowing just thirty feet from our home. It’s a great way to see the current weather here.

I hope you find something interesting, useful, funny, or even thought-provoking on the blog.

Thank you for visiting, and I hope you’ll come back again soon.
